it’s not a gecko.

harks back to a painting by René Magritte that is a fun way to make a point in epistemology.

Initially seeing the not-gecko as stationary and clinging flat to the wall, I was caught off-balance by the incongruous shadow of its right front foot. As I realized both that foot and the left rear were above the surface, the image came alive. The glow supports that. Well done.

Yes, the right front foot is farther from the wall than the others. Intended or not, it goes with the curve of the body.
