Science says there is no place special, so the center of a coordinate system can be any place convenient for the purposes of the moment. While the fluidity of centrality would have freaked out Aristotle (and still induces some queasiness), squirrels take it in stride.
(BTW, the [Menu] button atop the vertical black bar reveals the widgets.)
Centre ~ Pic and a Word Challenge #247
«Hey, stupid!»
«My empty gut is the center of the universe.»
«Refill the “bird” feeder and I’ll do rest.»
Squirrels also take it in stride when
science says space has no special directions.
Do they chow down or chow up?
Mr. Curmudgeon,
The fact that the prompt was a serious poem and picture of a cathedral and you respond with squirrel jokes, you get me my vote. 👍

On a serious note according to Tibetan monks in 1980 the center of the universe is a place called Vidette Lake in BC Canada. It’s worth looking up and even better to visit if you don’t mind being without electricity 😁

Thanks. I was on one side of a (temporarily very clean) window at ground level, shooting pix of a chipmunk. Squirrel was on the other side, only about a foot away. Dunno what excited squirrel’s curiosity or why it felt so safe, but it was clearly looking thru the window.
