At least 3 kinds of bee were zooming among Virginia creeper flowers like sharks zooming in and out of a bait ball. The smallest kind did not show in any of my photos.
While their visitors’ motions are similar, herrings enjoy meeting sharks less than flowers enjoy meeting bees. BTW, the Virginia creeper berries that result from bee visits are toxic to people and dogs. Leave them for the birds.

Thanks. Burst mode on the camera and frequent use of the Del key on the computer can sometimes yield a few good images of uncooperative subjects.
