An ancient insight is profound but is sometimes pushed to absurd extremes. Maybe the yin of solemn generality needs a little more of the yang of irreverent specificity.
(BTW, the [Menu] button atop the vertical black bar reveals the widgets.)
The ancient insight that «seemingly opposite … forces may actually be complementary … and interdependent» has modern echoes in wave/particle duality and concerns about work/life balance. The insight is profound but (like many insights) is sometimes pushed to absurd and pernicious extremes. I refuse to shrug off falsehood as the yin that complements the yang of truth.
Maybe the yin of solemn generality needs a little more of the yang of irreverent specificity.

Cosmic clothes washer.

Love this ! Witty, gently mocking, irreverent. Plus the entwined clothes image. So complete, so ying & yang in itself.

Come to think of it, «Lao Tzu At The Laundromat» would have been a more distinctive title for the post or the haiku. On the other hand, it might have revealed the joke prematurely.

[2020-12-09] The original post title «Yin and Yang» really was too generic. I finally decided to add «at the Laundromat» (in hopes of making it both more descriptive and more enticing).

Thanks. It was a pleasant surprize to have the whole post come together so quickly, when I noticed that the episode was about the close and I still had not worked on it.

Ha! There needs to be a delicate balance in the washer as there is in life. So clever, Mel.
