The plants in my yard have a response to the cherry blossom video shown in CDHK #194. After the winter, green plants spring back to savor warmth and longer days. Hmmm. That’s a haiku.

There is so much time left to experience the challenges of winter. Your plants choose to make winter a shortened season. I think I will share in their enthusiasm and begin living the Spring lifestyle. I already feel more energized. Thank you for a lovely haiku.

Fortunately, daffodils and tulips are both good at waiting out cold spells after they start putting out leaves.

These are lovely photos and haiku. Today, I spotted the first crocus of the year.

Thank U. Crocus where I live will put out the leaves a little later; they too are good at waiting out cold snaps.

Greenery in a garden is always a cause for celebration (unless it’s a slug)! 🎊 🎉 Beautiful haiku; I especially adore the second line. 🌷

Thanks. It was fun to play with the other meaning of “spring” in the 2nd line.

I like the play on spring in the second line. Shoots pushing up through the ground and the buds on trees are always such a hopeful sight every year.
